Phil Kan aka Pmfk was born and grew up in Hong Kong until he was 16 and then moved to Australia. Due to this background, Phil finds himself running between two languages and cultures. Under the influence of today’s digital media, video, and digital platforms apply with the factors of sculpture and performance found in his works. 

​​Pmfk returned and based in Hong Kong since 2009 and continually on his research in installation and digital media with different art mediums. He is working as a professional photographer, videographer and curator. 

After further study of woodcraft in 2016, craftsmanship became Pmfk’s primary field of focus. In recent years and a global outbreak of a pandemic disease, he collaborates with different designers and curators on their art event projects, custom made items for their creations and shop decorations.
